
The southern most tip of the world! (Not really, South America goes way farther south - and there is Antarctica down there too - or so they say). Where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet! (Not really, they actually meet a few hours east of here). A majestic and picturesque place with very high winds, a funicular, ostrich, baboon, and a lighthouse! Yes, that's better.
(There are no pictures of the rather significant infestation of baboons as I refuse to take pictures of filthy monkeys any more)





These are the Chacma baboons and they are the only protected population of this species in Africa.
