Bannerghatta National Park is about 30km south of Bangalore, and houses the Bangalore zoo, as well as larger enclosures of animals. The closest comparison I can come up with is the San Diego Wild Animal Park. We walked around the zoo and watched an elephant eat and monkeys, then took the safari, which was a big bus that went inside the enclosures and drove up next to the tigers and such. Was pretty cool.
