Mysore: Bandivan Gardens

An acre or so of manicured lawns at the base of a big dam. There's a big hotel on the hill, and you can take a boat ride across the reservoir to a show where they have a water fountain timed to music. Its a pretty pitiful display. The show starts with the sound of a windows machine starting up blasting through the loudspeakers (presumably the fountain/music thing is driven by a laptop or something), and then its loud Indian music to a very small water fountain. Its like the Bellagio fountain show, if the Bellagio were built for $25.00 in 1950 and forgotten about for the next 60 years.
The day was long and we were tired and it was time to go.
