Went to Thailand for the weekend last weekend. A few pictures from a day scuba diving trip in Koh Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand, about an hour and a half speedboat ride from Koh Samui. The diving was good. The water was very warm, almost too warm. The marine life is certainly not as dense as in the Maldives. My dive group was only 5 people, but we shared the boat with a few other groups, so it was pretty packed. The boat was a triple outboard and hauled serious ass, so it was slapping the waves the whole trip, unfortunately causing several of its passengers to barf off the side for most of the journey. I listened to the new Bombay Bicycle Club album and read a book.
